[RIP] Roman Testudo's missile block chance should be capped at 90

As title.

 

The current missile block chance with fully upgraded testudo (Germanicus) is well over 100%. Even with Vercingetorix's Scorched Earth (-30 MB), Testudo still gives around 90+ MB chance for fully upgraded T10 infantry.

 

Please consider capping the MB chance with Testudo to 90% (no debuff).

I think this is fine. 

Germanicus in my opinion should have the tools to even deal with the combi of -missile block + missiles without taking any damage (from the missiles).

Kind of a strenght he shouldend be losing it feels.

Germanicus Testudo can be removed just touching Germanicus with anything and instantly pull out. The better units for this are dogs or falxmen who touch germanicus testudo unit and use hamstring and pull out. Or rapid dog touch. Then archers instantly barrage and Germanicus unit dies. But this tactic hardly never works when you are playing with random team as archers on random teams simply are not skilled and fast enough to react in 5-6s time window until Testudo can be reactivated. So player who do the remove testudo touch just lose some hp out of nothing when random archers just stand there useless.

 

Against Leonidas this wont work as fight in the shade can be toggled on and off with 2s cooldown but at least after next patch leonidias cant have phalanx and fight in the shade active at same time. Making him at least little bit more vulnerable.

I would agree with a 100% cap, so that he blocks all missiles frontly but maybe not higher than 100% so Missile Block debuffs would have meaning.

I would also remind all of you that I still wonder how the heck the uncovered side of a testudo blocks 100% of missiles point blank from direct fire. I understand blocking plunging fire, but why does the side also block 100% already by tier 6? Anyone?

nothing should be 100% immune to anything...

no stats should ever reach 0% or 100% even if a mathematical singularity doesn't exist.

I agree with what your saying, tho i cant help but feel that germanicus is only at his best as a battering ram for your squad.

Vengance has a very long cd and is deffenatly his powertool. 

I would be fine to a minor nerf to his missle block, but i would never be ok with 2k+ damage volley's on a testudo when on fire+hunt.

This to me would make the general to weak. If it would be say 500/1k damage a volley (so you do have damage results from the debuff's ( but hardly worth it) I would like it.

But in the end it's only to make sure nothing reaches 100%, not making it worth the effort.

There are lots of absolute-enhanced abilities in Arena, those which grant 100% something on something. I'm with @ChaiDogsLiveLongNProsper a that nothing should be 100% immune to anything.
