When using Boudica in the Barbarian faction, and also whilst using the Barbarian infantry, you DO NOT gain access to the Units 'Harass' ability. Whilst using Arminius you are able to use the units with their in-built abilities, but whilst using Boudica you are not able to even SEE the ability, let alone use it. I was wondering if this was intentional, and if so, why on earth would it be intentional to remove the basic ability of a unit for a different commander? It would be like removing the Cavalry Charge from Cavalry units just because you used another commander in the same faction.

It is intentional I think, and it is the same for units like cavalry ; they have a unit ability (Cavalry charge), that is replaced by Wrath of Mars if you play it with Scipio or Hammer i fyou play it with Alexander.

The least they could do would be to replace the 'lost' ability with something else, a speed buff or a basic morale buff or something, not just leave it out. Feels a little unfair/imba.

that's how it the game works, when a unit has a charge ability (a weak one, harass is something like that) and a commander has a charge ability you get only the commander's charge ability (which is stronger)

it would cause a lot of problem if you a unit has 2 charge ability. you charged the enemy, but you saw another enemy unit is behind your back, you turn around with second charge abiltiy attack him to counter his charge

maybe it's not fair. but it's a logical decision.

If some unit have two charges unit and commander charge you could also use unit charge to dodge charge of the enemy who have only one charge then instantly charge him against with second charge. That would cause balance issues. More than one charge would also help to kill missile units faster and dodge arrows etc. That chance balance in game.

It is very logical that units generally only have one charge and that make it more tactical when to use that one charge.
